Mary Alexander Named Leading Plaintiff Consumer Lawyer in America by Lawdragon
Mary Alexander was named a Top 500 Leading Plaintiff Consumer Lawyer in the United States by Lawdragon for the 15th year in a row.
Lawdragon recognized Ms. Alexander for her tireless work and righteous commitment to defending the public in the court of law.
This is the latest of many awards that Ms. Alexander has received in the last 12 months. She has been honored with the 2021 Top Plaintiff Attorney in California as well as the 2021 Top Women’s Issue for successful women in the legal field for the third year in a row by the Daily Journal.
She also received major acclaim and recognition for her impressive results over the last two years. She won a $21.4 million dollar settlement received from the Contra Costa Superior Court for a family of brothers who had been exposed to the deadly benzene chemical. She also had an incredible victory in the tragic Ghost Ship Fire Litigation, one of the deadliest structure fires in U.S. history. Working with the executive committee serving as a plaintiffs’ liaison counsel and leading an impressive team of attorneys, she helped obtain a $32.7 million settlement with the City of Oakland. For this result she was then an honored recipient of the California Lawyer of the Year (CLAY) award for 2021 from the Daily Journal.
Mary Alexander’s hard work and devotion to the public does not go without notice and we are excited to continue to see what incredible work she will continue to do for the rest of 2021 and the years to come.
